Step 1) Hop on a plane and fly as far as you can.
Step 2) Soak up some sun and sand while it’s rainy and cold back home.
Step 3) Find hidden places. Explore somewhere new.
Step 4) Take time to watch the sunset.
Step 5) Be thankful for all the good things, and good people that you’ve met. Be hopeful for the future.
I’ve been absent for a few days while I enjoyed a much needed vacation with the husband. It was the first time we’ve flown anywhere together since our honeymoon three years ago. Unfortunately, on my actual birthday I was treated to a bout of the stomach flu, and I’m still recovering from that. I may not be around as much as normal for a couple of days yet.
Happy birthday, TS! I turn 30 in a matter of months. It’s no big change from 29 or 31. You’re smart, talented, got people who care – it’s all about the work you do from here. Rest well and enjoy that vacation!
Nope it’s not much different at all. Thanks John!
AWW about the stomach flu. But wow, your vacation looks absolutely gorgeous!! Where is that?
Hawaii 🙂
WOW. These pictures are calling me! Thanks for posting them, they are beautiful 🙂
Happy Belated Birthday, Theresa! Stay blessed!
And I’m glad you are out of flu’s sticky hands. Better watch it.

Thanks Brown Eyed! Time for you to take a vacation maybe? 🙂 I’m still not out of the flu’s clutches… but hopefully soon. It’s been a rough week.
Happy B-Day! I so long for a good get-away-from-it-all vacation like that with Dear Wife; but with B.T. we have to settle for something somewhat less. When he’s a little older, we’ll see what we can do.
Hope you recover soon!
Yup when he’s a bit older! There were tons of families having a blast on the beach.
Thanks Stephen 🙂
TS, the pictures look beautiful. Sorry to hear that you caught the stomach flu, not very fun, and I hope you are feeling back to normal now.
Almost 100% again. Thanks Aidan!
